Linen is really my all-time favorite fabric. But it's so hard to find it done right anymore. Obviously, I need to invest in some of Ovate's pieces.. Love your outfit here.

Thanks! Linen is my favourite as well. It's so organic looking. I am so glad a Canadian designer shares my love of this material. :)

I'm back with a question, if you don't mind! How does sizing run on the Ovate linen skirt? I've got a petite, slim but straight build (waist is not particularly narrow). I'm always hesitant to order non-knits online because sizing can be tricky..

A couple of things. I should have bought the single layer skirt because the double layer is kind of poufy at the waist and I find it makes me look chunky so I have to watch what top I wear. And I am a 27/28 waist (my problem area) and I got a large and can't do the zipper up all the way.

Thank you! That is most helpful.
I will pass on the skirt then, but may get the linen dress. It looks to be a looser cut, more forgiving.
I'd hardly think a 27/28 waist should wear a large(!) Seems the skirt runs extremely small.
Still looks nice on you, despite its shortcomings. :)
