The magical workspace and showroom of Audrey Cantwell

This past weekend I was in Montreal for a tattoo convention to get more lace added to my arm. I contacted Audrey of Ovate and the new Cendre to finally schedule a little time to meet her and check out her workspace/showroom. She is so damn sweet and gorgeous and her warehouse space is so "Montreal" and freaking fabulous. It was a quick meeting and I ran around snapping pics and quickly shopped while my husband looked on in amusement...and fear. I am so envious of Audrey. She is a talented and successful designer in a country where fashion is the farthest thing from most people's minds, and has now launched a shop of curated items from designers that almost no one in Canada stocks (and something I dreamt about doing but had too many ongoing careers to even seriously consider it). If you are ever in Montreal, you really should set up a visit. And fill your wallet beforehand. TRUST ME. But have no fear, you can always shop online.

P.S. I have a pair of Guidi boots to sell....because I now have these Nutsa Modebadze boots that actually fit me. Check out the other treat I bought at Audrey's on my page of DTI

Hi I'm glad you reviewed this store as I have been pondering buying guide some Nutsa boots from them. These heeled lace up are the ones I want as well. I'm a bit hesitant of the European sizing it's rare it fits feet that are half sizes, I'd love to know what size your feet are regularly, and what size boots you bought. Thx

The boots are at my work and I totally don't remember what size I bought. I'll try and remember to check on Monday. (My only beef with them is the soles are very thin/non-grip so I have to take them in to get vibrammed before I kill myself).

I'm an 8.5 and the boots are a 39 (I usually buy 9 in boots to be able to fit decent thickness of sock)
