Alicia Hannah Naomi

I have been a fan of Alicia Hannah Naomi's jewelry (and blog Sea Of Ghosts, and IG account) for some time now. She is based in Melbourne, loves Rick Owens and Guidi, and her stunning jewelry fits right in to this dark aesthetic. She launched her latest collection about a month ago and I have devoured her lookbook many, MANY times. Absolutely gorgeous.

These are the 2 pieces I am considering (once my bank account recuperates from my latest Rick Owens sneaker purchase and dining chair acquisitions)...the Awl ring and Rasp ID bracelet

Ooooh, yes to...both!
I'm enthralled with Alicia's designs. They're so unusual. It's insane what she does with texture! Such a talent.
For some reason I have trouble deciding to actually buy jewelry. And it takes me FOREVER to choose which piece(s) to get. Maybe I fear having too much adornment? Also I prefer to try on before buying, if possible. That said - I've been ogling a few of her rings, hmmm...

Love her work, but the implied violence in the advertising is too much for me

I thought the way this collection was depicted was creative and edgy. I was momentarily shocked at the "injuries" but quickly realized how well it worked with her designs. Kudos to AHN.
