not your granny's knitting...

IN LIMBO is the fall/winter collection by Montreal knitwear designer Maude Nibelungen. I have admired her work for a while now, and I was excited to get a early glimpse of the lookbook for her latest collection, which is set to launch @ 12 am ET October 4th.

''IN LIMBO'' is the first part of the collection ''Âmes en Ascension''. It's a more casual approach to an intricate medium. It's a step between ''the real life'' and dreams and aspirations. Tortured souls seeking the path to redemption, harmony; another state of mind.
Models are wearing their own jeans, shoes and accessories because I wanted to bring a more natural touch to the lookbook.
I worked with artists who's work i appreciate. Chloé Wise being a multidisciplinary artist and model, Zachary is singer and guitar player of Imperial Triumphant and Jillian Keats is a photographer and singer of Ides.

Now that I have had the opportunity to peruse her lookbook, I am even more excited now to get my hands on some of her work. It's really beautiful. Here are a few photos I selected that I really love (that includes some of my favourite pieces)...
