barbara i gongini

I took a few moments and photographed the other couple of items I purchased from Barabara Í Gongini's online shop...except the photos on her site are much better so here's a mix.

My package included a little look book, and a handwritten tag. :-)

Cute cotton leggings, with a rather large bum/crotch region and tight on the legs. They are a SUPER thin cotton so not great for the weather we're having now and they are pretty see-through so I might try and wear these before winter really rears it's ugly head by sticking some tight black leggings underneath. Here they are from the site (sadly there was only dark grey):

I also picked up an adorable cotton skirt. Also meant for summer but with some thick leggings I think I can wear it now. It's pretty plain from the front but it has draping at the back which has a really cool effect.

The pieces above are from her Black Line collection. The collection has a Nordic subtle design language with elements that challenges multi functionality and aesthetics in one and the same - its aim, to target the synergy between the compositional and the functional principles. The collection is aimed to the feminine and at the same time androgynous woman.

And there was the circular cardigan I wore to work on Thursday. One of my favourite pieces of clothing I own by far.
