hair

I finally booked an appointment to get my hair done on Saturday. I'm really tempted to try something drastic, like bangs, and dying it, or chopping it all off. I've had long hair for years, and haven't dyed it since I was 16 so I'm thinking a change is in order. But knowing me, I'll probably have her chop off a few inches and spend the next few months wishing that I had taken a risk.

I spent some time on TAAZ playing around with different styles and colors. If you haven't tried it yet, you really should. It's a blast. Here's some of the styles I'm thinking about.

Number 5 is amazing! Love the length, the layers, the swishiness...
It's a real get up and go style. Really suits your face too.
Looking forward to finding out what you go for.

‎2, 3, 5, and 7 suit you(in my prof opinion:P) but i realllllly think number 3 or 5 would be a great change for you! you could start with 3 and work you way up to 5. that way it's not painful you know. but i encourage you to stay dark, like #7 or 5, your eye color, maybe do a funky under color. rule of thumb for us 'high forehead-ers' is to have bangs, as cute as they are, they do come with maintenance and sometimes breakouts, so keep that in mind, but go with a longer whispier bang as opose to a short chunky if anything. hairstylists have an agenda remember; high maintenance ie. color, various colors, trendy cut, keeps you coming back(that and I am convinced they are envious of long hair so they want to chop it all off, that's why i do my own!) Short hair does come with a commitment. you can do a hat or bandana thing on lazy days, but on 'blah i don't feel so good about my body today' days, there will be no ability to hide behind big beautiful hair(i am notorious for depending on and hiding behind my hair). I think it will be liberating for you. i did it a couple years ago and loved it, and am contiplating it again, but i love my long hair oh so much! if you chicken out for whatever reason, you can call me and we could make changes if you'd like, i still do hair on the side for a few ppl;) keep us posted, sorry for the novel!
